Robert Barnett

Assistant Professor, Health Information at Northern Ontario School of Medicine

Robert Barnett serves as the Director of Capacity Access and Flow for the North Acute Sector at Ontario Health since July 2022. In addition to this role, Robert holds positions as a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Rural and Northern Health Research and an Assistant Professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, where responsibilities include Health Information and community engagement. Previous roles include Manager of Knowledge and Strategic Services at Public Health Sudbury & Districts and Director of Research, Planning and Partnerships at North East Community Care Access Centre. Robert's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Rural and Northern Health from Laurentian University, a Fellowship in Ontario Health Teams from the University of Toronto, and degrees in Psychology, Social Psychology, Philosophy, and Religious Studies.
