Michael Mulroney has a diverse work experience in the natural resource sector. Michael started their career as a Senior Development Geologist at Eon Metals NL in 1990. Mulroney then joined NM Rothschild & Sons (Australia) Limited in 1991, where they worked as a Director providing funding solutions for natural resource projects and later transitioned into Corporate Advisory.

In 2002, Mulroney became the Managing Director at Breakaway Resources Limited and held that position until 2005. Michael then joined Venturex Resources Limited as a Non-Executive Director from 2008 to 2011.

Mulroney's next role was as an Executive Director at Argonaut Capital Limited, where they focused on advising small to medium cap resource companies on ECM, DCM, and M&A transactions. Michael held this position until 2012.

From 2006 to 2012, Mulroney worked at AFM Perseus Fund Limited as an Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer. This open-end investment fund specialized in investing in small and micro-cap natural resource companies.

Mulroney then joined Venturex Resources Limited as the Managing Director from 2012 to 2015. Michael oversaw the exploration and development of copper-zinc resources in Western Australia and gold deposits in Brazil.

Mulroney's most recent role was as the Chief Development Officer at Northern Star Resources Limited, a position they have held since 2015.

Additionally, Mulroney served as a Non-Executive Director at Acacia Coal Limited from 2010 to 2015 and Superior Gold Inc. from 2019 to 2021.

Michael Mulroney attended Curtin University from 1976 to 1978, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Applied Science with a focus on Geology. Michael later returned to Curtin University from 1991 to 1995 to pursue a Master's in Business Administration, specializing in International Finance.
