Gary Paulin

Gary Paulin currently serves as the Head of International Enterprise Client Solutions and Head of Global Strategic Solutions at Northern Trust since October 2021. Prior to this role, Gary held the position of Global Head of Integrated Trading Solutions at Northern Trust Capital Markets from May 2016 to October 2021. Gary's career began as a Founding Partner at Aviate Global LLP, a boutique investment bank focusing on global equity research, sales, and trading, from June 2007 to April 2016. Earlier experience includes a role in Equity Sales at Merrill Lynch from September 2001 to February 2006. Gary holds a Master of Arts in Social and Political Science from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington, and a Bachelor of Physical Education in Health Sciences from the University of Otago.
