Leo Alaniz

Leo Alaniz is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in wealth management, strategy, and operations. Currently serving as the Regional Managing Director for Latin America and Canada at Northern Trust Corporation, Leo has held multiple leadership roles since joining the company in April 2011, including Chief Operating Officer for Investments and Head of Strategy and Global Marketing. Prior to Northern Trust, Leo was Vice President in the Office of Strategic Management at BMO Financial Group from 2006 to 2011, and a Consultant at McKinsey & Company from 2004 to 2006. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Manager of International Operations at Homestore.com/Move.com from 2000 to 2002. Leo holds an MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School, an MPhil in European Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in Biology and International Studies from Yale University.
