Scott Backo

Scott Backo, PMP, CSM, currently serves as the Practice Lead for Global Incident Management at Northern Trust Corporation since November 2021. Prior to this, Scott held several key positions at PNC from 2000 to June 2021, including Director of Enterprise Business Continuity Management, where responsibilities included governance facilitation, business impact assessments, and crisis event management, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic. Other roles at PNC encompassed Senior Risk Officer for Corporate Functions in Operational Risk Management and Program Director overseeing a $45 million project. Earlier in the career, Scott gained experience at Rite Aid, BNY Mellon, and Computer Aid, Inc. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State University.
