Vice President, Development at Northern Virginia Family Service

Sarah Crosley has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Sarah has recently served as the Vice President of Development at Northern Virginia Family Service, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Events & Stewardship at the same organization from August 2018 to September 2022. In addition, Sarah has experience as a Resident Naturalist and facilitated educational workshops, guided nature walks, and assisted in program development at the University of Georgia from August 2007 to April 2008. Sarah also worked as a Programs Assistant at Georgetown University, School of Continuing Studies from December 2006 to July 2007, and as an Analyst I at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc from January 2005 to August 2006. Overall, Sarah Crosley has a strong background in event planning, program coordination, and administration.

Sarah Crosley obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Criminal Justice from The University of Georgia from 2001 to 2004. From 2010 to 2012, they attended the University of Virginia where they obtained a Teacher Licensure in Special Education. In September 2012, they received a Provisional Teaching License in Special Education from the State of Virginia.
