Emma Werthmann has accumulated extensive experience in visitor services and park management since joining NOVA Parks in December 2020, currently serving as a Visitor Services Specialist, Park Specialist, and Campground Supervisor. Prior to this role, Emma worked at Fairfax County Park Authority from June 2015 to January 2021, where responsibilities included serving as Amusements Supervisor at Burke Lake Park, coordinating events as Room Coordinator at Cub Run RECenter, and fulfilling duties as Manager on Duty and Front Desk Staff. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from George Mason University (2019-2021) and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Northern Virginia Community College (2017-2019).
