Sandeep Shetty has extensive work experience in various leadership and strategic roles. Sandeep is a co-founder and CEO of NorthLadder, where they have created transparency in the pre-owned electronic devices market through an advanced and efficient trade-in platform. Prior to that, Sandeep worked at Careem as the Managing Director of Mobility of People, where they had P&L accountability for the core mobility business. Sandeep also had a significant role at Emirates NBD as the Senior VP and Head of Group Transformation, where they set up a subsidiary company and led multiple transformation projects for the bank. Sandeep has also worked at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Engagement Manager, delivering impactful projects across industries. In addition, they held various roles at GE Capital, including Vice President, and played a key role in setting up the consulting business in the US. Sandeep began their career in strategy and business development at HSBC and Citibank. Throughout their career, Sandeep has consistently been a top performer.
Sandeep Shetty's education history includes several notable institutions. In 1992, they completed a B Tech degree in Materials Science Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Marketing/Finance from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow, graduating in 1999.
In the same year, Sandeep studied banking at HSBC in Bricketwood, London. From 2002 to 2008, they engaged in further education with GE Capital, participating in programs in both the United States and India. In 2008, Sandeep obtained a degree in Europe, US, and Dubai with a focus on unconfirmed field of study from McKinsey & Company.
Subsequently, Sandeep sought executive education at the IESE Business School in 2013, specializing in Strategy and Leadership. In 2014, they continued their executive education in Finance and Strategy at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Finally, in 2015, Sandeep attended the Harvard Business School for further executive education, concentrating on Global Strategy.
