John Matthews is currently the Sr. Customer Experience Manager at Northland Communications Company since November 1998. John served as the President at Center for Leadership Excellence from June 2016 to June 2019, where John led partnership negotiations with Mohawk Valley Community College to expand the leadership program. John was also the Organizer at TEDxUtica from February 2013 to September 2018, securing corporate sponsorships for the event. In addition, John served as the Area 23 Governor at Toastmasters International from June 2012 to June 2013, acting as a liaison between clubs and the executive leadership team. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Media Management from State University of New York at Fredonia, an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Mohawk Valley Community College, and a Regents Diploma from Holland Patent HS.
