Rachel Stephenson

As Chief People Officer, Rachel is responsible for all aspects of Northland’s Human Resources strategy, including talent management, leadership development, compensation and benefits, as well as leading all human resources functions globally. She works closely with the Executive team to ensure Northland continues to build a culture that attracts, retains and develops high performance talent to deliver on its global growth objectives. She joined the company in January 2021.

Rachel brings to Northland more than 15 years of leadership in Human Resources, including extensive experience leading human resources strategies and functions for national and global organizations across multiple sectors, technologies and geographies. Most recently, Rachel served as Vice President Human Resources for Signify, where she led and oversaw the execution of the human resources strategic growth objectives across Canada, the United States and Latin America, a position based in the USA she held since 2016. Prior to Signify, she was Vice President, Human Resources for Schneider Electric where she was based in France, UK and Canada.

Rachel holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College.
