James Adam Bourque Bourque

James Adam Bourque Bourque is an experienced educator currently serving as a Junior High Humanities teacher at Northland School Division since August 2022. In addition, James holds roles as Treasurer and Political Engagement Officer for the Northland ATA, focusing on enhancing engagement in Alberta Education political matters. Previous experience includes teaching Junior High Math and Science and serving as a Generalist at Father R Perin School. James has a background in emergency services, including being an On Call Firefighter and an Emergency Social Services Volunteer. Additional teaching roles encompass positions at AlFaisal International Academy and Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, where James trained ESL teachers. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Alberta and has completed the Education Studies Program at Grant McEwan University.
