Matt Shafer

Matt Shafer has extensive experience in the finance industry. Matt started their career at CIBC World Markets in 1997, where they served as an Executive Director until 2006. Matt then joined Lehman Brothers as an SVP from 2006 to 2008. After that, they worked at Nomura as a Managing Director from 2008 to 2009. Matt then joined Vision Capital as a Partner and served in that role from 2009 to 2017. Currently, they are employed at Northleaf Capital Partners, where they began as a Managing Director in 2018 and currently holds the position of Global Head of Direct Private Equity.

Matt Shafer attended Dartmouth College from 1993 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
