Kumar Giritharan

Kumar Giritharan has a strong background in research, analytics, and product management. Kumar is currently serving as the Head of Research and Analytics at North Rock Capital Management, LLC since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Consultant and CTO at KBG Trading LLC from June 2019 onwards.

From 2017 to 2019, Kumar was the Director of Product Development at ITG. Kumar also held multiple roles within ITG, including Senior Product Manager, Innovation Lab Director, and Senior Product Manager, Analytics Director from 2008 to 2016. In these positions, they were responsible for leading product management efforts, architecting digital platforms, developing analytical models, and engaging with clients and partners.

Kumar is also the Founder of Qodebook Pty Ltd, a Fintech startup where they served as Vice President from 2004 to 2006. Kumar played a key role in defining the vision and business model of the company and built a prototype for the product.

Earlier in their career, Kumar worked at ITG as a Project Manager and Senior Software Engineer from 1998 to 2004. Kumar managed analytics customization projects and business intelligence infrastructure development.

Before joining ITG, Kumar worked at Multi Media Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they developed children's CD ROM titles and text layout libraries.

Kumar Giritharan completed their education in a chronological order, starting from 1991 to 2006. Kumar pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B Eng Hons) in the field of Computer Systems from City, University of London, between 1991 and 1995. In 2006, they pursued an MBA in Management & Finance from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM). Additionally, in the same year, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ESSEC Business School. Furthermore, Kumar Giritharan acquired the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in June 2019.
