Amanda Thomas

Amanda Thomas is a seasoned professional in structural drafting, currently serving as an Associate and Group Manager at Northrop Consulting Engineers since March 2018. Previously, Amanda held the position of Senior Structural Drafter at ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd from April 2014 to March 2018, where the focus was on concrete and steel frame retail warehouses, residential structures, fuel structures, and cross-laminated timber (CLT) projects. Prior roles include working as a Structural Drafter at SCP Consulting PTY Ltd on high-rise residential and healthcare structures, as well as a Bridge Drafter at Pitt & Sherry, where Amanda prepared spaced plank bridges. Experience also includes positions at GHD, Transport for NSW, Robert Bird Group, and Cardno, contributing to various infrastructure projects including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls. Amanda holds a Certificate IV in Structural Engineering from Nirimba Tafe and graduated from Wingham High School.
