Akbar Shah

Akbar Shah has over 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Strategic Manager at Northrop Grumman since 2006. Prior to this role, Akbar held the position of Principal Engineer for Mechanical Analysis at Orbital ATK from 2002 to 2006, and Project Engineer for Hawk 4 at Groen Brothers Aviation from 1998 to 2002. Earlier in the career, Akbar was Lead for Structural Analysis at Groen Brothers Aviation, Inc. from 1996 to 1998, and worked as a Research Engineer at the Quality and Integrity Design Engineering Center from 1993 to 1996. Akbar holds a BS, MS, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, as well as a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from Karachi University.
