Kris Teaford

Kris Teaford is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the aerospace industry. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer - Mission Architect at Northrop Grumman Civil Space Systems since September 2024, Kris previously held the position of Chief Engineer for Landers & Spacecraft at Astrobotic from December 2020 to August 2024. Prior to that, Kris served as Organizational Chief Engineer at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation, overseeing significant engineering practices from April 2015 to December 2020. Kris's career includes managerial roles at Orbital, guiding teams of engineers on advanced flight systems, as well as engineering positions at Spirit AeroSystems, Bombardier Aerospace - Learjet, Orbital Sciences Corporation, and Rockwell Space Operations Company. Kris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Kansas, which was earned between 1985 and 1988, having also studied at Kansas State University from 1982 to 1985.
