Reza Ahmadi is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in systems engineering and management. Currently serving as Chief Engineer and Department Manager at Northrop Grumman since January 2012, Reza oversees the systems simulation and modeling department. Prior to this role, Reza was an instructor for the Masters in Systems Engineering program at Johns Hopkins University from January 2013 to May 2018, teaching courses on Systems Conceptual Design, Systems Architecture, Metrics Modeling and Simulation, and Systems Verification and Validation. Earlier career positions included Senior Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation, Senior Systems Engineer at Raytheon, and Software Engineer at Hughes Space and Communications. Reza earned a PhD in Physics and an MS in Physics from UCLA, completing studies from 1990 to 1994 and 1988 to 1990, respectively.
