Sully Edwards

Sully Edwards is an experienced engineering professional specializing in nuclear surety. Currently serving as the Nuclear Surety Chief Engineer at Northrop Grumman since August 2020, Sully oversees the safety and security of the Sentinel weapon system. Prior to this role, Sully worked at Boeing as a Systems Engineer focusing on the same weapon systems from September 2017 to August 2020. Sully's career began in the US Navy as a Submarine Warfare Officer from May 2009 to October 2017, where responsibilities included managing operations as the Assistant Weapons Officer and Damage Control Assistant. Additionally, Sully served as Team Chief at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, leading New START Treaty operations from August 2014 to August 2017. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.
