Michael Simpson

Michael Simpson is a seasoned engineer with over 20 years of experience in military-grade microwave and satellite communication systems. Currently serving as a Senior Principled Process Engineer at Northrup Corporation since September 2021, Michael previously held roles as an RF Technician and Electronics Technician-4 at L-3 CSG and L3 Technologies, respectively, since April 2009. Areas of expertise include component-level repair, troubleshooting using diagnostic test assets, and the development of streamlined test procedures. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics from Weber State University, completed between 2007 and 2017.
