Bahiy Watson

Bahiy Watson is a Structural Analysis Engineer at Boeing since April 2023, with previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer at VIVACE International Corporation from October 2018 to April 2023, where aerospace structures were designed and analyzed. Bahiy has been an Adjunct Professor at Northshore Technical Community College since January 2022, teaching parametric modeling and CNC programming, and previously taught at Delgado Community College as part of a NASA-funded initiative from January 2020 to May 2022. As the Founder and Executive Director of The 1881 Institute of Technology since September 2014, Bahiy leads a workforce development initiative for underrepresented populations in engineering and technology. Educational qualifications include ongoing doctoral studies in Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from Tuskegee University.
