Kim O'Brien

Kim O'Brien is a highly experienced education professional with a strong background in special education. Currently serving as the Special Education Campus Coordinator and Support Specialist at Northside ISD since September 2018, Kim has been instrumental in supporting students with special needs, including those with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. Prior to this role, Kim spent several years at Northside ISD as a Special Education Teacher and has held various positions, including Special Education Teacher at Irvine Unified School District and Transition Coordinator at Manassas Park City Schools. Throughout this career, Kim has focused on functional academics, life skills, and transition planning for students. Kim is furthering education with an Ed.D. in Special Education from Texas Tech University, holding a Master's degree from Trinity University and a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.
