Lars Henneberg

Lars Henneberg is the Vice President and Head of Risk Management at A.P. Møller-Mærsk, a position held since 2010, and serves as Managing Director of Maersk Insurance A/S. With over 18 years of experience in legal roles—including six years as an attorney at Plesner and five years in leadership positions at Maersk Oil—Lars has developed extensive expertise in oil and gas, shipping, and insurance. Lars has international experience from a five-year posting in Qatar and has contributed as a Chairman of the Board for Ulykkesforsikringsforbundet for Dansk Søfart and as a Board Director for The Standard P&I Club. Lars holds a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen and has completed various management programs, along with military training as an Army Officer.
