Rico Perkins

Rico Perkins has an extensive background in anesthesiology, starting as an Anesthesia Resident at the University of Louisville in 2006. Rico then worked at OAS from 2010 to 2022, where they focused on cardiac and general anesthesia, OR schedule management, and various regional blocks. From 2015 to 2022, Rico held various leadership roles at NorthStar Anesthesia, including Medical Director, Chief Anesthesiologist, Chief of Anesthesia Department, and VP Physician Services/Regional CMO.

Rico Perkins earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Furman University in 2000. Rico then went on to attend the University of Louisville from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their M.D. in Medical School.
