Jack Miles has a diverse work experience in the research and editorial fields. Jack is currently working as a Research World Editor at ESOMAR since March 2019. Prior to this, they held positions as a Senior Research Director and Research Director at Northstar Research Partners from 2017 to 2019. Jack also worked as a Guest Editor at ESOMAR/Research World Connect from 2015 to 2019. In addition, they have experience as an Insight Director at Chime Insight & Engagement Group in 2017. Earlier in their career, Jack worked at Northstar Research Partners as a Research Director, Associate Director, Research Manager, Senior Research Executive, and Research Executive from 2008 to 2016. Jack also served as a Guest Blogger at The Huffington Post from 2013 to 2015 and as a Web Editor at Significance Magazine from 2010 to 2011. Jack began their career as a Junior Research Executive at Mobile Sensory Testing Services from 2007 to 2008.
Jack Miles has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Portsmouth, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Jack also has a Master of Science degree in Social Research from London Metropolitan University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Recently, in 2018 and 2019, Jack completed two Marketing Week Mini MBA programs with Mark Ritson, one in Marketing and another in Brand Management. Additionally, they are pursuing additional certifications in Applied Behavioural Science from Ogilvy and Lions Course on Copywriting from 42courses, both of which they will obtain in 2023.
