DeogJin(DJ) Jang

DJ Jang has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. DeogJin(DJ) started their career as a Macroeconomist at Daishin Economic Research Institute from 1994 to 1996. DeogJin(DJ) then worked as a Quant analyst from 1997 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Shinhan Investment Trust Management Co., Ltd. as the Head of Risk Management team. In 2000, they worked as a Director at Korea Fund Research. From 2001 to 2008, they held various roles at Shinhan BNP Paribas ITMC, including COO & Head of product development and Head of Risk Management team. In 2009, they became the Managing Director at Shinhan BNP Paribas AMC and subsequently held positions such as Head of Strategic Product Development Division and Deputy CEO, Marketing & Product Group. DeogJin(DJ) worked at Natixis Investment Managers as a Consultant/Advisor from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, they became a Consultant for retirement pension, CFP at 플라자. In 2022, they worked as an External special consultant for retirement pension business at 플라자. Currently, DJ Jang is working as a Financial Planner at Northstar since May 2023.

DeogJin (DJ) Jang completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration at Sung Kyun Kwan University in 1986. DeogJin(DJ) then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Macroeconomics at The Graduate Center, City University of New York from 1989 to 1993.

In 2018, DJ Jang enrolled in Kyung Hee University to pursue a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) degree with a focus on Pension Finance. DeogJin(DJ) successfully completed this program in 2022.
