Chris Jones

Chris Jones has extensive experience in research and development management, currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at Northumbrian Water Group since October 1997. Additionally, Chris is a Visiting Professor of Practice at Newcastle University, a position held since January 2018, and has contributed as a Non Executive Director at RTC North from January 2013 to January 2024, as well as at SWIG from February 2004 to January 2019. Chris also held the role of Chair at SWIG. Academic credentials include a Masters in Leadership Practice from Lancaster University (December 2020 - March 2023) and a BSc in Surveying Sciences and Mathematics from Newcastle University (September 1985 - July 1988), along with earlier education at Queen Elizabeth's High School and Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Gainsborough.
