Akmal Naim

Akmal Naim is a Senior Project Manager at Northvolt since April 2021, specializing in the management of minerals processing plants and overseeing pre-commissioning and commissioning processes. Previously, Akmal served as a Project Portfolio Manager at PETRONAS and held various roles at the same company, including Risk Manager and Project Engineer, focusing on operational risk management and large-scale refinery projects. Akmal's extensive background encompasses EPCM project management, late engineering design resolution, compliance with safety standards, and the development of operational readiness documentation. Akmal holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School and Mannheim Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.
