Christian Grimm Balaniuc

Christian Grimm Balaniuc (MBA) has a diverse range of work experience. Christian is currently working at Northvolt as the Team Lead for the Cathode Active Material (CAM) operating model, responsible for analyzing the cost of different chemistries used in their cell production and evaluating cost changes. Christian also supports the sales team in setting target costs by benchmarking manufacturers worldwide.

Prior to this, Christian worked at Siemens Energy as an Operation & Maintenance Bid Manager, where they led the development of bid offers and calculations for power plant projects. Christian was responsible for understanding customer requirements, analyzing local markets, and calculating costs for maintaining equipment.

Christian also worked at Siemens, first as a Senior Application Engineer, developing customized operation and maintenance solutions for power generation assets. Christian then moved on to the role of a Proposal Engineer, where they identified and acquired data from customers to develop power plant designs. Christian also had an internship at Siemens, focusing on project management tasks.

Additionally, Christian gained valuable experience as an intern at John Deere, supporting product validation and improvement in the Forestry & Construction assembly line. Christian also interned at Daimler AG, working in quality management for the Special Trucks division.

Christian's work experience also includes internships at Engemasa - Engenharia e Materiais LTDA and a leadership role at Formula Route UFSCar, where they managed a team and participated in the technical aspects of building a high-performance vehicle.

Christian Grimm Balaniuc earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Industrial Economics and Management from Blekinge Institute of Technology between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they pursued an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFSCar - Alumni from 2010 to 2017.
