Sudhir Unnikrishnan has diverse work experience in various industries, including Northvolt, Volvo Group Trucks Technology, Boeing, Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, and ABB.

Sudhir'smost recent position was as the Lead - Next Gen Industrial Battery Systems at Northvolt since September 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Lead - Industrial Projects Battery Systems at Northvolt from July 2021 to September 2023.

Before joining Northvolt, Sudhir worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer - Battery Systems at Northvolt from December 2020 to July 2021.

Sudhir also worked at Volvo Group Trucks Technology as a Project Representative - Cab Wiring Harness from April 2019 to May 2020.

Sudhir's previous experience includes roles at Boeing as the Lead - Electrical Design and Analysis from August 2018 to March 2019, at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India as the Senior Technical Lead - Passenger Vehicles from June 2016 to August 2018, at Volvo Group Trucks Technology as an Engineer- Electrical and Electronics from August 2011 to June 2016, and at ABB as a Design Engineer - Low Voltage Systems / Switchgear from July 2009 to June 2011, and as a Management Trainee from July 2008 to July 2009.

Throughout their career, Sudhir has gained expertise in various aspects of electrical engineering and has contributed to the design and development of cutting-edge battery systems and other related projects in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Sudhir Unnikrishnan has a Nanodegree in Intro to Self Driving Cars from Udacity, which was obtained in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering from 2004 to 2008. Earlier, they attended St. Joseph's Pre-University College from 2002 to 2004, focusing on PCME (Electronics). Sudhir completed their Indian Certificate of Secondary Education at New Horizon Public School in 2002. In terms of additional certifications, Sudhir obtained a Python for Data Science certification from IBM in 2019, an Intro to Self Driving Cars certification from Udacity in 2018, and a Goethe Zertifikat B1 from Goethe-Institut e.V. in 2018. Sudhir also achieved an IELTS Band 8.0/9.0 (C1 Level) from the British Council in 2017 and completed a Management Development Program from the Management Development Institute in 2008.
