Brendan Ryu is a dedicated medical student researcher currently engaged in interventional neuroradiology and interventional radiology at Northwell Health since January 2020. Concurrently, Brendan serves as a medical research associate at Deerfield Catalyst and holds the position of chair for the Medical Student Council's Research Committee at the Society of Interventional Radiology. Brendan previously acted as the medical school chapter chair for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons at the Zucker School of Medicine and was involved in student leadership roles at the Zucker School, including class representation and social chair duties. Brendan's research background includes significant contributions as a research technician and assistant at Duke University Health System under Dr. Kevin Franks, as well as several research positions at Columbia University Medical Center and the University of Pittsburgh. Brendan earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine, expected in May 2024, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Duke University in 2017.
