Jennifer Avedon has extensive experience in event management and coordination within the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Special Events at Northwell Health since May 2015, Jennifer previously held roles as the Director of Special Events and has a strong background with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where Jennifer worked from March 2011 to May 2015, progressing from Campaign Coordinator to Senior Campaign Manager. Earlier experience includes roles at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medical College as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Research Coordinator, respectively. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, and Philosophy from Union College, completed in 2007.
