Teresa Amato

Teresa Amato currently serves as Vice President of Clinical Sustainability and Resource Stewardship at Northwell Health, a position held since October 2016, and has previously held roles including Director and Vice President of Resource Management. Additionally, Teresa Amato was Chairperson for North Shore-LIJ Health System and worked as Associate Program Director at Long Island Jewish Medical Center from 2015 to 2016, as well as Associate Chair at the same institution. Educational qualifications include an MD in Medicine from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (2003-2007) and both an MSN and BSN in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing (1991-1993 and 1989-1991, respectively).
