Kristine Parker Watson has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Kristine most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Northwest Administrators, Inc. from December 2014 until the present. Prior to that, they were the Human Resources Director at the same company from October 2012 to December 2014.
Before joining Northwest Administrators, Inc., Kristine worked as the Firm Administrator at Graham Lundberg & Peschel from March 2010 to October 2012. In this role, they managed the business administration function, including human resources, for a growing law firm with multiple offices in Washington. Prior to that, Kristine was the Director of Human Resources at the City of Lake Forest Park from May 2007 to August 2008. Kristine oversaw all HR activities for the municipality and implemented a training partnership with Shoreline Community College during the roll-out of new technology.
From March 1998 to May 2007, Kristine held the role of Director of Human Resources & Administration at First Choice Health Network. In this position, they oversaw HR and administration functions and implemented recruiting processes and policies to improve efficiency and reduce turnover.
Earlier in their career, Kristine worked as an Assistant Human Resources Administrator at Oblon Spivak from September 1995 to November 1997, where they managed recruiting and benefits and payroll functions. Kristine also worked as the Office and HR (Human Resources) Supervisor at Presidio Corporation from August 1994 to September 1995, where they managed all HR and facilities functions.
Kristine Parker Watson has a Master of Arts degree and holds certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Kristine Parker Watson holds a Master's degree in Human Resources from The George Washington University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in English at California State University-Sacramento from 1992 to 1994. In terms of additional certifications, Kristine obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in January 2015. Kristine also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they achieved in December 2002.
