Dr. Jona Ely

Dr. Jona Ely has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. They currently serve as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Northwest Colorado Health since June 2022. They also hold the same role at Lander Medical Clinic from November 2021 to November 2022.

Prior to these positions, Dr. Ely worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at UCHealth - Yampa Valley Medical Center from March 2014 to October 2021. They gained experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Kinder Family Clinic from May 2002 to March 2014.

Dr. Ely began their career as a Staff Nurse in Obstetrics and Med/Surg at Yampa Valley Medical Center in September 1999. They specialized in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, Newborn care, and Medical Surgical Care until August 2012.

Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Northern Colorado in 2002. Finally, they obtained a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2013.
