Samah Sutherland

Samah Sutherland started their work experience in 1993 as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Gary. Samah then joined Prompt Ambulance in 2002 as a Critical Care Paramedic and worked there until 2011. In 2007, they joined Valparaiso FD as a Firefighter/Paramedic and remained in that role until October 2021. Samah also worked as a Vice President at Safety Training Services Inc. from 2001 onwards. Currently, they are employed at Northwest Health as a Registered Nurse and holds the position of Director of Clinical Outreach since August 2021.

Samah Sutherland attended Calumet College of St. Joseph from 2004 to 2005, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. Samah then pursued their Associate of Science degree at Ivy Tech Community College from 2016 to 2018, specializing in Registered Nursing. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix from 2018 to 2020, earning their Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
