Trevor Pyle is an accomplished journalist and information officer with extensive experience in sports and natural-resource management reporting. Since November 2021, Trevor has served as the South Sound Information Officer for the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission, focusing on treaty tribes in the Pacific Northwest. As a Freelance Contributor for the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard since August 2019, Trevor has authored 20 posts featuring interviews with notable practitioners in narrative journalism. Previously, Trevor worked as a Staff Reporter at Skagit Publishing from October 2003 to November 2021, where responsibilities included covering local sports and community events. Early career experience includes serving as a Sports/Education Reporter for the North Kitsap Herald from 1995 to 1999. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Literature, and Political Science from The Evergreen State College.
