Luke O'Neill

Luke O'Neill is an experienced leader in outdoor education, corporate program development, and legal practice. Since November 2020, O'Neill has served as Chief Operating Officer at Wilderness Medical Associates International, while concurrently acting as Lead Instructor at Northwest Outward Bound School since July 2007, specializing in sea kayaking, backpacking, and mountaineering courses. Previous roles include Program Manager and Facilitator for professional programs at Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, President of Brilliant Light Studios, and Program Manager at the Outward Bound Center for Peacebuilding, among others. O'Neill founded Shackleton Schools, Inc. and held the position of Regional Vice President at Meritas, LLC. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School and two law degrees from Georgetown University Law Center, complemented by a BA from Georgetown University.
