Hilary Edwards

Hilary Edwards currently serves as General Counsel for the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Hilary worked as Honor's Attorney for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde from May 2022 to December 2023, focusing on legal research and analysis related to tribal laws and regulations. Prior experience includes a legal internship with the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board, where assistance was provided in tracking healthcare policy changes, and roles such as Casework Coordinator for the Washington State Senate and Law Clerk for the ACLU. Hilary holds a Doctor of Law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where studies emphasized Federal Indian Law and Health Law & Policy. An educational background also includes Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Business, Management, and Marketing from Seattle University.
