Alison Spencer

Alison Spencer is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in contract negotiation and management. Currently serving as Corporate Counsel and Lead Contract Analyst at NorthWestern Energy since August 2015, Alison has previously held the position of Senior Contract Administrator at Talen Energy from December 2006 to August 2015, where responsibilities included the negotiation and management of various agreements. Prior to that, Alison owned a legal practice focusing on contracts, real estate transactions, and construction agreements from September 2006 to August 2015. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Financial Advisor at Waddell & Reed from July 2004 to December 2006 and serving as Office Manager at Bitterroot International Systems from 1996 to 2000. Alison holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Montana School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Government from the University of Puget Sound. Additionally, Alison has served as a board member at Missoula International School.
