Jim Williams Jr.

Director Thermal & Wind Generation at NorthWestern Energy

Jim Williams Jr. has a diverse work experience in the energy and manufacturing industries. Jim started their career in 2003 as a Maintenance Technician at Montana Resources and worked there until 2008. In 2008, they joined GT Solar as a Quality Engineer. From 2009 to 2014, Jim worked at NorthWestern Energy, initially starting as a Project Manager and later progressing to the role of Generation O&M Manager. In 2015, they became the Thermal & Wind Generation Manager at NorthWestern Energy and eventually rose to Director of Thermal & Wind Generation in 2018.

Jim Williams Jr. earned a Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering from Montana Technological University in the years 1998 to 2003. Jim later completed an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from West Texas A&M University College of Business from 2015 to 2017.
