Ryan Hamel

Ryan Hamel joined NMC’s Senior Leadership Team as CPO. Ryan came to NMC from Alice Hyde Medical Center in New York with 14 years of HR experience, including having successfully led the team at Alice Hyde for the past five years. Ryan was highly regarded by the UVMMC Network and their sincere desire was to retain him in his lead position at Alice Hyde where he did an exceptional job of building a strong HR team. In conversations with the leadership at Alice Hyde, he was noted to be adept as a leader, communicator and relationship-builder with experience leading teams through challenging times of change.

The Senior Leadership Team works collaboratively to ensure NMC remains on course in alignment with their strategic plan and annual operating plan. There is always a Senior Leadership Team member on call so staff, providers, and others have the access they need around the clock. They strive for interchangeable leadership through trust, communication and a shared approach to decision making, so progress can continue even when a specific individual is unavailable.
