Tejasvi (Teju) Peesay is an accomplished medical professional currently serving as an Internal Medicine Resident at Northwestern Medicine since June 2022, while also pursuing medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine as a medical student since July 2018. Tejasvi co-founded MedSupplyDrive and has been a board member since March 2020. In addition to these roles, significant experience includes serving as a student intern at the Orthopedic and Mechanobiology Laboratory and as Near Peer Mentor for the GEMS Program at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Previous volunteer work at Children’s National Health System focused on supporting the emotional well-being of pediatric patients. Tejasvi has also participated in competitive research programs and gained early exposure to the medical field through various internships during high school and undergraduate studies. Tejasvi holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University, complemented by a Master's in Physiology and a Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland.
