Ryan Heinemann

Ryan Heinemann is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, currently serving as Vice President and General Counsel at Northwestern Mutual since July 2012. In this role, Ryan leads the Law Department, providing timely and solution-oriented legal services that support the company's operations. Previously, Ryan held positions as Vice President - Corporate Counsel and Assistant General Counsel & Assistant Secretary, focusing on corporate matters, tax, and investment portfolios. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, Ryan gained valuable expertise at Davis & Gilbert LLP, Winston & Strawn LLP, and Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP, advising clients across various industries on transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and securities. Ryan holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a BBA in Marketing and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
