Ed Alvarez

Ed Alvarez is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Executive Director at San Francisco Bay University since March 2025. In addition, Ed co-founded the Eastside Education Initiative in June 2020 and has held the position of President at the Latino Education Advancement Foundation from July 2018 to August 2025. Previously, Ed was the President of The Foundation for Hispanic Education from June 2010 until July 2019 and served as Chairman of the Board at The National Hispanic University from June 2002 to April 2010.
