Heather Cohen

Heather Cohen is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Associate Director in the Office of Community Standards at Northwestern University since January 2019. Previously, Cohen held roles including Equity Specialist in the Office of Civil Rights and TIX Compliance and Assistant Director of Community Standards. At the University of Illinois at Chicago from January 2017 to January 2019, Cohen was the Associate Director of Community Standards, where achievements included receiving the Outstanding New Staff Award in 2018 and being recognized as the New Professional of the Year by the Association of Student Conduct Administrators in 2019. Additional experience includes roles at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, New York University, and Duke University. Cohen holds an M.Ed in Higher Education & Student Affairs from North Carolina State University and a BA in Political Science with minors in Business and History from Ohio University.
