Amy Rogan

Amy Rogan is an accomplished professional in the field of communication, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Communication at The University of Findlay since August 2014, where responsibilities include teaching various communication classes and advising the student newspaper, The Pulse. Previous academic roles include Assistant Professor of Communication at Urbana University, where classes taught encompassed interpersonal communications and multimedia production. Amy also has extensive experience in journalism, having worked as a Freelance Reporter for ThisWeek Community Newspapers, covering local government and education issues, and serving as Assistant News Director at Ohio News Network, where numerous projects received accolades, including Emmy nominations. Additional experience includes adjunct faculty at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and producer at WCMH-TV. Amy holds a Master's degree in Marketing and Communications from Franklin University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Findlay.
