Katie Belardi

Katie Belardi is an experienced professional in academic and clinical operations with a strong background in speech-language pathology and research administration. Currently serving as the Assistant Chair of Academic and Clinical Operations at Northwestern University since September 2023, Katie previously worked as a Research Administrator at the University of Pittsburgh, where responsibilities included guiding faculty in extramural funding efforts, enhancing grant submission processes, and managing research laboratory operations. With prior roles as an Assistant Professor at Duquesne University and a Postdoctoral Fellow and PhD student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Katie has extensive teaching, research, and mentoring experience. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Duquesne University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the same institution.
