Ziad Elbadry Shaker is a Bachelor of Engineering candidate in Computer Engineering at Northwestern University, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as a Peer Mentor at Northwestern University, Ziad provides guidance to students in the Introduction to Computer Science course. Previously, Ziad worked as a Researcher at Argonne National Laboratory, focusing on 5G data transfer for urban system insights, and offered technical support as an Audio/Visual Student Technician at Northwestern University. Additionally, Ziad gained experience as an IT Intern at the African Leadership Academy and founded Big Hero Robotics Academy to enhance robotics education accessibility. Ziad also participated in the LaunchX summer entrepreneurship program, launching a startup aimed at assisting autistic children with VR technologies.
