Mary-Ann Essak

Mary-Ann Essak has a diverse background in mentorship and research, currently serving as a Peer Mentor, Research Assistant, and Research Volunteer at Wayne State University since June 2020. Prior experience includes working in a storefront role at Josef’s Bakery from July 2018 to January 2020 and serving as an Academic Tutor at Grosse Pointe North High School from January 2018 to January 2019. Mary-Ann completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at Wayne State University in December 2022 and is currently pursuing further education at Wayne State University School of Medicine, starting in July 2024.
