Northwood Academy Charter School
Lauren Hamilton is an experienced educator with a strong background in science and STEAM education. Currently serving as a STEAM Teacher at Northwood Academy Charter School since August 2021, Lauren previously worked as a Project Lead the Way Teacher at Hazel Park Junior High School and as a Chemistry Teacher at Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School. Lauren began the teaching career at Saint Pius X Catholic School, where multiple roles included directing the 8th grade play, coaching softball, and tutoring. Lauren holds a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Saint Joseph's University.
